These are websites that offer free software that you can download to your computer. Bible study software, daily devotional programs, screen-savers, wallpaper, and more. Be sure to check the system requirement for the program you want to download. Make sure you have what you need, and the space available to download what you want. It's also good to have a anti-virus program on your computer to keep the bugs out. The SWORD Project
- The SWORD Project is the Cross Wire Bible Society's free Bible software project. Its purpose is to creat cross-platform open-source tools-- covered by GNU General Public License-- that allows programmers and Bible societies to write new Bible software more quickly and easily. We also create Bible study software for all readers, students, scholars, and translators of the Bible, and have a growing collection of over 200 texts in over 50 languages.
